Alicia Gard received a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and serves as a primary therapist and group facilitator. Alicia has over 5 years experience in the fields of co-occurring disorders, trauma, and substance abuse treatment, providing therapy at all levels of care. She believes that building a foundation of trust and a therapeutic alliance is essential to help create an environment where clients feel supported in their counseling journey. Alicia focuses on identifying underlying false beliefs which individuals have carried to the present day, often through identifying and healing their inner child and family dynamics. She believes in the necessity of connecting the mind, body, and spirit in order to become healthy, happy adults.
